"We're here in Waikanae, tackling a comprehensive landscaping project from start to finish," he remarks as he stands amidst a tiered landscape on the property. "It was a blank canvas of a property," he continues, gesturing to the expansive surroundings. "We've got a pool going up there, informal lawn here, orchard down there, and all kinds of paving going up around the house there. So it's a complete landscaping package we're doing here." "So it's been me for the last three years and I've just taken on another contractor to help share the workload and share some of the responsibilities within the business of driving machinery and trucks and keep the ball rolling on site."

His passion for machinery also grew from an early age; Brendan explains, "when I was growing up in my teen years, I'd go home to the family farm and tinker on the digger, build motorbike jumps, groom the bike track and do bits and pieces around the farm for the old man".
